Update from Foster Home
What a smart girl! When Rosa came to foster care she did not even know a sit command, with ease she learned a good sit in about 15 minutes! Over the past few months she has shown tremendous progress and knows many commands. Sit, down, stay, leave it, give, wait at the door, wait for my food, gimme paw, spin, go in crate, and house training are just to name a few!! Whew....and she made it look easy! Rosa was protective of her crate when she first arrived, after some training Rosa is beginning to realize that she has nothing to fear and she can rest in her crate in peace. She still prefers that dogs leave her alone when she is resting or chewing a bone and will occasionally give a growl or a snap. Otherwise, she and her Vizsla playmate have become quite good buddies! They love to wrestle, run, and sun bathe on the deck together.

Rosa has also completed her Heartworm treatment and is doing great.... she has put on some much needed weight and is very happy that she can run again!
